👷 Open the internet browser

👷 Type the URL given to you by your administrator

👷 Enter your user name and password

👷 Click ok

Assigning Resources

By creating an assignment you specify both the resources assigned to a task and their associated assignment units 1.
👷In the assign resources dialog Task - Resources List options - Resources from project 1
To assign resources from project server
👷Select the task to which you want to assign a resource
👷Click assign resource
👷The assign resource dialog appears, expand resource list option.
👷Under add resource option select from project server
👷The Build Team for Project 1 dialog appears
👷Select the resources you want and click Add
👷Now repeat the steps that appear in highlighted color
 

Task Dependencies

Link various tasks that are dependent on each other.
The project plan will look like a real schedule.
There are 04 (four) types of dependencies
👷 Finish-to-start
👷 Finish-to-finish
👷 Start-to-start
👷 Start-to-finish
Creating finish to start dependency
👷 Select the task you want to link
👷 On the standard tool bar click link task 🔗 else use (ctrl+f2)
To apply any tak dependencies follow these steps
👷 Select the task that is to become the successor
👷 On the standard tool bar click task information or double click the task to open the task information dialog box
👷 Click predecessors tab
👷 Click the blank row in the task name field and then click the down arrow key to see the list of tasks
👷 Click the task that is to be the predecessor to the current task
👷 Click the type field then select the type of dependency
👷 Click ok
The project guide also provides a quick way to create most common links
👷 Choose the task on the project guide
👷 Select the Schedule task
👷 Select the task you want to link and then choose the link

Defining Milestones

A milestone represents a significant landmark, decision point or turning point in the life of a project.
They Can be considered as reporting points. 
The milestone marker and date are drawn in the chart area of Gantt Chart
👷 To create a milestone
        ~ Enter the number 0 in the duration field
👷 To change a regular task into a milestone do the following
        ~ Select the task you want to make milestone
        ~ On the standard tool bar click task information and then click the advanced tab
        ~ Select the mark task as milestone check box
